Terms of Service
Effective June 2, 2026.
These Terms govern your use of Intellegio, an intelligence brief service operated as a sole proprietorship by Bridget Doran ("Intellegio," "we," "our," or "us"). By purchasing a brief, accessing the site, or using any feature of the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The service
Intellegio sells one-page intelligence briefs synthesized from the past 30 days of public X (formerly Twitter) conversation on a topic you specify. Briefs are produced via paid access to a third-party X data service over the x402 micropayment protocol, then synthesized by an AI model (Claude Opus). Briefs are delivered as a PDF by email, with a permalink to the underlying raw corpus.
2. Tiers and pricing
Three pricing tiers are offered: Self-serve ($9), Custom ($49), and Deep dive ($199). Each tier corresponds to a single brief purchase. We may change pricing at any time; the price in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. All amounts are in U.S. dollars.
3. Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. You authorize us to charge your chosen payment method for the price displayed at checkout. We do not store payment card numbers; payment data is handled by Stripe subject to its own terms and privacy policy.
4. Delivery, reruns, and refunds
Briefs are typically delivered within minutes for Self-serve and within 48 hours for Custom and Deep dive. If the underlying X corpus does not support an honest brief — too thin, too off-topic, or otherwise unsuitable — we will not produce a misleading brief. Instead, you will receive a free rerun offer: reply to the delivery email with what you actually wanted and we will run another brief at no additional charge. Because each purchase involves real third-party costs that are incurred regardless of outcome, we generally do not issue cash refunds. Exceptions are made at our discretion in cases of genuine service failure.
5. Your content; license to us
The topic text and any follow-up text you submit ("Your Content") is yours. By submitting Your Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, and store it solely for the purpose of producing and delivering your brief and operating the service. You represent that you have the right to submit Your Content.
6. Your brief
The PDF brief and the linked raw corpus delivered to you are yours to use for any lawful purpose, including internal decision-making, sharing with colleagues, citing in your own work, and republishing with attribution. The raw corpus consists of publicly available X posts; the synthesized brief reflects our editorial method applied to that corpus.
7. Our intellectual property
The Intellegio name, brand, site design, software, synthesis prompts, deliverability rules, and editorial methodology are our property. You agree not to reverse-engineer, scrape, mass-extract, or attempt to reconstruct the underlying prompts, code, or business logic of the service.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to: research individuals for the purpose of harassment, stalking, doxxing, or intimidation; produce material intended to defame; circumvent the rate limits or authentication mechanisms of the service; or otherwise violate applicable law. We may refuse, cancel, or reverse any order that appears to violate these terms.
9. AI-generated content; no advice
Briefs are produced by an automated AI synthesis layer applied to a curated X corpus. They are intelligence briefs, not professional advice. Nothing in a brief constitutes legal, financial, investment, medical, or any other professional advice. You are responsible for evaluating the brief and deciding whether and how to act on it. We do not warrant that briefs are accurate, complete, current, or fit for any particular purpose.
10. Third-party services
The service depends on third-party providers including Stripe (payments), Anthropic (synthesis model), x402 / x-research (X data), Resend (email), Vercel and Google Cloud (hosting), and Cloudflare (network). We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or terms of these third parties.
11. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost data. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations; in those jurisdictions the limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the service, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.
14. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or used the service in a manner that creates risk for us or for other users. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page indicates the date of the most recent change. Material changes will be announced on the site or in a notice email. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, U.S.A., without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
